    Description

    Large, old, ethnic Turkmen metal bead with serpentine wire work. Shows signs of age and wear, including patina and an overall aged appearance. From end to end the bead is 2.75" or 7 cm long. The opening is approximately 7 mm. 4.5" circumference. Would make an amazing centerpiece pendant on your own DIY jewelry creations. The bead is somewhat silver in color but does have subtle golden tones - on the braided bands. The oxidation is more a brownish color due to the copper content in the alloy. There are some dusty crevices in the serpentine wirework.
