I generally wrap each figure in bubble wrap, sometimes several in a row for multiple figure lots, and tape the roll.
I use balled up catalog pages and sometimes plastic shopping bags to cushion the miniatures I ship.
More durable miniatures without long weapons and so forth I will often ship in a bubble mailer, with figures wrapped in bubble wrap, as above, cushioned with balled up catalog pages.
Other more delicate figures (or finely painted figures) always ship in a mailer box.
Figures will be shipped with delivery confirmation.
Insurance can be purchased if you wish.
