    Description

I guess this would be similar to a military draft although I think military service in Germany during this period was compulsory and much more understood as a part of their life and duty to their country.  It is dated March 28th, 1914 and heavily modified for both the date, unit and place of reporting in Dippoldiswalde.  The original document was for 1912 but hand modified.  I am not sure if the telegram envelope goes with it but it has a 1914 date so is the closest match, he probably used it for storing his documents because it is hand written with his 1914 ID card as a label.
    Measures about 8 x 10 inches.
The soldiers name is Gafonisa? Frigner and was a part of the 45th Artillery Messtrupp (Testing Crew) of the 32nd division of the German Imperial Army.  He was inducted in to the Army on the 28th of March, 1914 and eventually became part of the Replacement Battalion for the Artillery Inspection Commission (APK) based out of Berlin, a military authority of the Prussian army of the "highest cabinet order".
This is one part of a set of 7 documents found together so I am confident they all belong to this soldier.  While every document does not contain all of this information, I was able to piece together the information from each document to put together his abbreviated bio above.  The documents are all listed separately due to the complexity of the information but should probably be preserved together so message me if you are interested in them all before they are sold as I will consider offers on the entirety of the set if reasonable.
